Someren – 2020
The hamlet of ‘De Hoef’ (The Farm) is located just outside the built-up area of Someren, near the ring road. As the agricultural functions are being discontinued for several years now, this hamlet is changing. There is a shift towards residential use. For example, stables of intensive livestock farms have already been replaced by new houses with spacious gardens. The owner of a plot against such a transformation site has commissioned P15 to draw up a development plan for two new homes that are integrated in the existing landscape in keeping with the soul of the place. As the land owner plans to live here himself, he was very closely involved in the planning process and the choice of plants.
